He is considered one of the greatest writers and satirical artist of USA. Since 1997 he has been set up in his memory “the Thurber Prize”, which honors the best American humorists " .....Okay, James Thuirber has  left his mark
  • "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is a 2013 film directed by Ben Stiller, played by the same, with Kristen Wiig and Sean Penn. It is the second film based on the short story The Secret Life of Walter Mitty written by James Thurber in 1939. The film is a remake of the 1947 film produced by Samuel Goldwyn (father of Samuel Goldwyn Jr.) , directed by Norman Z. McLeod , with a completely different plot : if the movie  of 1947 had a noir plot , that of 2013 is  above all  a road movie”.... Ok , Ben Stiller wanted to play a remake of Walter Mitty with an inverted and distorted plot.

Why don't you go and read  by yourself, then, the book, "the only one",  written by Thurber in 1939 and finally you can understand what it means freshness narrative  and  good mood  by Thurber  trade mark?
